This week we’re taking a look at Jeremy Cloutier who claims Mont Avila, QC as his home base. Check out what he has to say about a professional career here, and, if you haven’t seen it yet, check out his demo reel that was featured on Transworld Snow this season.

Louif Paradis has been on the come up for a number of years now as he locked down parts in DLX’s Sugarshack videos. This season was Louif’s first year filming for a major production, Transworld’s movie titled These Days. If the word on the street is correct, once These Days drops you’ll be seeing, and hearing, a whole lot more of Monsieur Paradis.
Future Snowboarding Magazine caught up with Louif on his way through Portland. Check out what he has to say about what many are calling his breakout year. Catchin’ up with Louif.
The people at Forum snowboards re-wrote the book on snowboard videos when they released The Resistance, one of the first team videos in snowboarding.
Since then, Forum has released True Life, Video Gangs and That, all following the team video format. Vancouver’s Jeremy Pettit was first invited to film and edit with the Forum crew for That, and his work continues in this year’s upcoming release Forum or Against’em.
Check out what he has to say about his experiences filming for the new movie here, and check out Forum’s newly redesigned website here.

Future Snowboarding Magazine sat down recently with Whistler shred Dominique Vallee to find out what’s new. From her recent travels, to her season highlights, summer plans and yoga background, FSM got the goods.
FSM: So what brings you to Carlsbad? Dom: Visiting a friend I met in Bali last fall. I was supposed to be here for one week but I decided to change my ticket because I have nothing to do back home. The boarding is not that great I think on Blackcomb. It just snowed a foot but they’re building the gondola [the peak to peak gondola that will run from the top of Whistler to the top of Blackcomb]. So they closed all the park off at Blackcomb. Read the rest of this entry ?
I’m going to be starting a new weekly segment to help everyone make it through the summer. I’ll be posting links to some classic video parts courtesy of some of the best talent to ever come out of Canada. What better way to start it off than with Devun Walsh’s infamous part from The Resistance.
Hopefully I’ll think of a catchy name for this feature, but in the meantime (or if you have suggestions) let me know what you think.
K2 Snowboard’s Leanne Pelosi led the way among all Canadian riders as she placed 6th, and was the sole Canadian in the top 10, on Transworld Business’ Snow Exposure Meter for the 2007-08 snowboard season.
The rankings are determined based on each rider’s advertising and editorial coverage amassed from July 2007 to April 2008. Devun Walsh was the next highest Canadian on the list, and the only other Canadian in the top 50, placing 45th.
Andreas Wiig, Shaun White, Scotty Lago, Jeremy Jones (fs) and Nicolas Muller placed ahead of Pelosi, while Danny Kass, Gigi Ruf, Wolle Nyvelt and Pat Moore rounded out the top 10.
