Transworld Snowboarding launches new site

July 30, 2008

Transworld Snowboarding has unleased their brand-spanking-new website on to the Internet you are currently surfing.

The good news is the site has a great new look with a ton of new features, plus a ton of the archived stories have been included in the redesign.

The bad news is all of FrontLipped’s links to the old Transworld site no longer work. I’ll be working on updating those this week, I promise.

In the meantime, you can take the direct route over to the new site and start poking around.

Who’s Next Wednesdays – Alex Ferland

July 30, 2008

Snowboarding is, without a doubt, the most beautiful sport in the world and it means everything to me.

What else is there to say after that?

It’s obvious that Alex Ferland’s passion for snowboarding is bound to take him a long way. Coming up from the cold slopes of Mont-Avila, Quebec, Ferland has taken some big steps towards being one of the next big names out of Canada. Combine that with the fact that he’s equally as comfortable on big kickers as he is on street rails or in the pipe, and you have the formula for a burgeoning career.

Head over to Snowboard Canada dot com to see what else he had to say to Scott Birke about being one of Quebec’s, and Canada’s, up-and-comers.
