My name is Jason Petznick, and I am 22 years old. I grew up in a small town in Ontario, but now, after a brief stint in British Columbia, I’m back in Ontario.
I have been snowboarding for 11 years. I love it because there are so many different ways to express yourself within the sport. The people I enjoy riding with most are the Ski Pro Shop crew, the Double Diamond boys, my friends from back home and anyone who is down to have a good time.
The first thing I do every day is hit the snooze button. The people who most inspire me in life are all the people who I have had the pleasure of working with and working for because they have shown me the importance of a good work ethic and a positive outlook.
When I was younger I wanted to go to school to become a police officer, but I ended up going to school for Journalism, and then Public Relations. One day I hope to get a full-time job doing promotions, events, public relations, marketing or communications for a snowboard brand, but until then I’ll do everything I can to make that happen.
