Hey Jason, just read your post on the Burton Love and the protests and all the drama etc etc. Thought I’d send you my input, as I’m started a new snowboard brand, Harlot, this year, and our first line of boards would fit right in with these (www.harlotsnowboards.com, and believe it or not, we’re from Ontario). A lot of what you’re saying is true. For me personally, the graphics I chose to be on my boards is art, and great fucking art to say the least. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with showing skin on a board, and when it comes down to it, Burton probably couldn’t be more happy to receive all this extra attention, not that they need it. Anyways, not sure if you could add anything else to your post, and if not I’ll definitely throw a reply in there, but thought I should throw that out there as nearly every single person I’ve ever spoken with regarding the boards has mentioned the graphics (and it’s been 100% positive aside from the fact a certain retailer will not carry it, as well as those other boards, because of the graphics). It’s sick what you’re doing, will continue to check the blog out.
