After a lovely morning exploring Toronto’s subway system because I really had nothing else to do (and definitely not enough energy to pursue another task), I rolled into the Toronto Ski, Snowboard and Travel Show (TSSATS) for the second day running.
The day rolled on, but with Mikey Rencz, Natasza Zurek, Nicolas Muller, Frederik Kalbermatten and Yale Cousino scheduled to roll through the show for an autograph session, you could feel a sense of anticipation in the air.
The crew from Burton arrived courtesy of Snowboard Canada, and hung out around the SBC booth for a little while before the session started with some familiar faces from the Canadian snowboard scene including Mikey Scott, Daryl Trinidad, Jesse Fulton and Jon Roth (sorry Roth, if you read this and want something linked to your name, let me know and I’ll toss it up), to name a few.
That evening, Monster Energy and Snowboard Canada teamed up to premiere Burton’s It’s Always Snowing Somewhere and Alterna’s KNOCKOUT the tenth round, at the Sound Academy in Toronto. The party went off all night, but I had to call it early on account of the fact that I had to get up the next day and do it all over again. Check back for day number three.
