Norquay and Lake Louise set to open Nov. 8th

403001logo165If you’re looking to catch the first lift-accessed snowboarding in Canada for the 2008-09 season, you better head for the airport or start looking for a ride to the hill now.

Alberta’s Mt. Norquay and Lake Louise will be the first resorts in Canada to open lift-accessed riding this year when they open the lifts tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. Louise’s Glacier Express chair and Norquay’s Cascade lift will be running  for riders to shake off the early-season rust on limited terrain. Sunshine Village, the third resort in the Banff-Lake Louise area, is scheduled to open on November 14th.

For more information, including what runs will be open and lift ticket prices, check out the full story on Snowboard Canada.
