Some of Canada’s top snowboard talent will be going up against the world’s best this week at Calgary Olympic Park.
The Burton Canadian Open, scheduled to run from February 2nd to 8th, is the fourth step on the Burton Global Open series. Riders will compete in halfpipe and slopestyle for a shot at more than $50,000 in prizing.
Some of the Canadian riders competing include Jeff Batchelor, Dustin Craven, Brad Martin, Charles Reid, Sebastien Toutant, Sarah Conrad, Spencer O’Brien and Leanne Pelosi. The competition will be stiff as SWATCH Ticket To Ride World Snowboard Tour point leaders Chas Guldemond and Jamie Anderson have both confirmed that they will compete at the event.
