Canadian Sweep; men's halfpipe podium

Three years in the making, the Inaugural Burton Canadian Open finally made its way to Calgary’s Olympic Park this past weekend.

There was some heavy talent in attendance, but Canadian riders did all they could to snatch as many podium spots as possible taking 7 of a possible 12 spots on the steps. Jed Anderson, Jeff Batchelor, Justin Lamoureux, Palmer Taylor, Sarah Conrad, Sebastien Toutant and Charles Reid all graced the podium steps before the weekend was over.

Great weather, a good crowd and a course that all the riders were stoked on made this one of the best events to ever go down in Alberta. Check out more coverage on Snowboard Canada and PUSH.ca
