With the fourth day of the 2009 US Open in the books, a Canadian rider has already claimed a podium finish.
More than $20,000 was up for grabs in the men’s and women’s divisions of the Invitational Quarterpipe competition. Canadian Sebastien Toutant took third place on the quarterpipe, and walked away with $2,500. Toutant followed Scotty Lago and Daniel Ek who placed first and second respectively. On the women’s side it was Kjersti Buaas, Lisa Wiik and Elena Hight taking first, second and third.
