Canadian riders stood up and defended their home soil during the finals of the Grenade Games Superpipe. Dustin Craven and Guillaume Morisset took the 3rd ($1,000) and 2nd ($2,000) positions respectively, but it was TJ Schneider who blew the judges away with massive airs and a crazy double-corked 1080, enough to earn him 1st place and $5,000.
Other winners included Louie Vito (best trick), Dennis Bannock (best crash) and Sammy Luebke (best air). Kory Wright also snagged a Golden Ticket for his handplant on the Monster Energy can.
Suck on that 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Men’s Halfpipe team.
