While I was driving across our fair country (away from the mountains), the rest of the snowboard industry was gathering in Whistler for the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival, and the Grenade Games.
One of these industrious individuals was Shannon, aka: Shayboarder, aka: the mind behind the blog The World of Snowboarding Through Fembot Eyes. If you haven’t heard of, or seen, her blog, I suggest you get that out of the way now.
While staying in Whistler, Shannon made it out to the Prior Snowboards factory to take a bunch of awesome photos and meet a bunch of cool people. Not that I’m jealous or anything, I got to ride with friends at Sunshine Village and face off against rattlesnakes in Alberta.
Anyways, you should check out the full tour of the Prior factory with Shannon on Shayboarder. And, if you’re curious to find out how those handcrafted boards ride, you can pick up one of Prior’s demo boards for cheap directly from their website.
